Rural Hill would like to welcome you to the 19th annual Rural Hill Scottish Festival and Loch Norman Highland Games.

This Festival has something for everyone, and you don’t have to be Scottish to have a great time.

Historic Rural Hill is a 265 acre historic site, working farm, events destination, and center for education. The former 1760 homestead of Major John and Violet Wilson Davidson, Rural Hill is open to the public year-round and is part of Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation system. The property is leased and operated by Historic Rural Hill, Inc.

In addition to the Rural Hill Scottish Festival and Loch Norman Highland Games, Rural Hill offers the North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival in May, the Amazing Maize Maze in September through November, the Rural Hill Sheep Dog Trials in November, and First Footin’ Walk and Five Miler on January 1st of each year. Rural Hill also serves as a host to Carolina’s Warrior Dash in May and Mecklenburg County’s Bark in the Park in April. Rural Hill offers excellent educational programming for classes and groups of all ages and sizes throughout the year. For more information on any of these offerings, please visit www.ruralhill.net.

Please note that Pets are not allowed at this event.
