Friday, April 16th

5:30 PM Food Court at Rural Hill Opens.
7:00 PM Patrons & Sponsors Reception at the Chief’s Tent at Rural Hill.
8:00 PM The Call of the Clans.
8:00 PM Scottish Dancing – Welcome Dance at Hopewell Presbyterian Church .
 

Saturday, April 17th

7:30 AM Competition in Piping and Drumming.
8:00 AM Field opens, Registration for Amateur Scottish Athletic events.
8:30 AM Highland Dancing competition begins.
9:00 AM Registration for Battle Axe competition; practice throws until 11:00 am.
  Registration for Scottish Fiddling until 12:45 pm.
9:30 AM Competition begins in Professional Heavy Athletics.
10:00 AM OPENING CEREMONIES – Presentation of the Honored Guests and Distinguished Guest.
  The Loch Norman Pipe Band, Scottish American Military Society post #1775, 
  The 78th Fraser Highlanders.
  Following Opening Ceremonies:
  The Kilt Dedication in front of the Clan Henderson Tent. 
  Celtic entertainment begins in the Chief’s Tent.
  Professional Scottish Heavy Athletics competition.
  The Highlands Climbing Wall opens until 12:00 pm.
10:30 AM Crime and Punishment in the British Army Historical Encampment.
Celtic Entertainment begins Front Porch Stage and Back Porch Stage.
11:00 AM Scottish Fiddling workshop in the Dogwood Glen.
The Scottish Country Dancing tent opens with dancing until 3:00 pm
Carolinas Open Premier Highland Dancing competition begins.
12:00 PM Heavy stone Lift & Carry; Massed Pipe Bands performance.
12:30 PM Flag Retirement Ceremony on the Main Field.
1:00 PM Scottish Fiddling competition begins in the Dogwood Glen.

Sunday, April 18th 

8:00 AM Field opens, Registration for Amateur Scottish Athletic events.
9:00 AM Qualifying for Amateur Heavy Athletics; Registration for Kilted Mile at the Athletic tent until 12:00 noon
9:00 AM Worship service at the Rural Hill Burying Ground.

The 78th Fraser Highlanders; The Kirking of the Tartans; Procession to the main field.

Highland dancing competition begins in the Chief’s Tent
10:00 AM Practice throws at the Battle Axe pit until 11:30 am.
The Highlands Climbing Wall opens until 12:00 noon.
Crime and Punishment in the British Army Historical Encampment.
10:30 AM Celtic Entertainment begins Front Porch Stage and Back Porch Stage.
11:00 AM Scottish Harp Workshop; Registration for Scottish harp competition until 12:45.
Best Clan Tent Award.
12:00 PM The Parade of Tartans and Massed Performance.
12-2:00 pm Scottish Country Dancing tent demonstrations & instructions.
12:30 PM Amateur Scottish athletic competition resumes.
1:00 PM Scottish Harp competition in the Dogwood Glen.
Kilted Mile, Tug-o-War (clan teams), The Highland Climbing Wall open until 4:30 pm.
Ferguson Rifle demonstration on the main field.
1:30 PM Sheep herding demonstration.
2:00 PM Single malt whisky Seminar in the Scottish County Dancing Tent.
Crime and Punishment in the British Army Historical Encampment.
2:30 PM Battle Axe Challenge Match – entry fee for prize pot.
3:15 PM Raffle Drawing.
4:00 PM Presentation of Awards at Reviewing Stand.
4:30 PM CLOSING CEREMONIES will be at the Cairn with the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
